Description
Fuel Systems Lab applies theory in the laboratory environment. Students will disassemble, inspect, evaluate, reassemble and calibrate a mechanical pump.

2. Combination mechanical and electronic injection systems
3. Diagnosis, service and repair of fuel systems
Learning Outcomes
1. Determine different types of fuel delivery systems
2. Determine the effects of fuel grades on engine performance
3. Experiment with different types of governor systems
4. Inspect and analyze engine and fuel systems to determine methods to enhance performance
5. Differentiate distributor and inline pumps
6. Demonstrate how the governor and fuel system operate together
7. Diagnose and repair fuel system issues in diesel engines
