Description
Advanced Engine Lab provides hands-on shop experiences. Students will practice reconditioning of the larger and electronically controlled engines.

2. Large and Advanced Diesel Engine Repair
3. Large Diesel Engine Rebuild
4. Overhead Cams
5. Engine braking systems
6. Injectors
Learning Outcomes
1. Build a valve cycle
2. Disassemble and rebuild engine using the student-built cycle
3. Diagnose and repair larger engines with overhead cams and multiple valve cylinders
4. Diagnose and repair components such as engine braking systems and unit type injectors
5. Disassemble, inspect, evaluate, repair and adjust, and reassemble valve, valve train components, cylinder blocks, crankshafts, bearings, sleeves, pistons, and rings
