NURS 2400 Transcultural Nursing: Community and Global Perspectives

Description

Transcultural Nursing: Community and Global Perspectives provides students with the opportunity to be exposed to people, practices, and cultures from other parts of the world. Students will enhance their cultural competence and learn how nurses can "change the world" outside of their community. This course includes classroom time and a trip abroad during which the student nurses will discuss and experience how a different culture accesses healthcare and available resources. Prerequisite: Past and present nursing students.
