Academic Programs
Agriculture Business, A.S.
Overview
This two-year program is designed to prepare students for employment in agri-business or for continuing their education at a four-year institution. Graduates of this program may find job opportunities in sales, services, and management positions in agriculture-related firms and industries. Students who plan to transfer are encouraged to review the requirements of the transfer institutions and plan their programs accordingly.

Students in this program will receive the A.S. degree upon successful completion of the following requirements and suggested courses:
- Successful completion of a minimum of 60 credits, 15 of which must be earned at Minnesota West Community & Technical College.
- A grade point average of 2.00 (“C”) or better.
- Meet the minimum of 30 credits of general education as required by the A.S. degree.
- Fulfill a minimum of 30 credits of core technical courses in the areas of business and agriculture from the following:
