Description

Patient Centered Care II focuses on nursing process and clinical judgment in the care of patients and their families. Emphasis is placed on professional knowledge, skills, and attitudes integral to the nursing competencies of patient centered care, safety, and evidenced based practice. Concepts of therapeutic communication, health promotion, pharmacology, and nutrition are integrated throughout the course. Care of the client with endocrine, neurological, integumentary, gastrointestinal, renal, musculoskeletal, and reproductive disorders. Emergency nursing care will be explored.
