Ethics Theory and Practice, will introduce students to classical and contemporary ethical theories and apply them in analyzing contemporary ethical issues.

1. Theory section of course topics to be covered:
Utilitarian
Deontological and Virtue ethics
Ethical Egoism
Rights
Justice
Moral relativism
2.Practice section of the course topics to be covered:
Specific contemporary ethical issues covered will vary from term to term
Issues covered each term will reflect the availability of resources, media focus, and students’ interests.
Learning Outcomes
1. Classify appeals to which they are exposed and which they themselves offer by identifying the ethical theory or theories which apply.
2. Apply ethical theories and relevant principles to case studies.
