Academic Programs
Overview
Prepare pharmacy technicians to assist licensed pharmacists dispense prescription medications in pharmacies. The Pharmacy Technician training program will prepare students to work in a pharmacy and be eligible to take a certification examination at the age of 18. An externship provides the student with hands on experience as well as providing the necessary skills to pass the certification exam to be successful in the industry.
